Mike Brown, a Delaware native, has had a passion for music since he was playing drums throughout grade school, and eventually landed on bass due to a surplus of drummers and guitarists in the area.
Graduating from Shenandoah Conservatory with a degree in Jazz Bass and Recording Technologies, Mike is constantly striving to expand his talents and dig deeper into the music scene. He started playing in the D.C. and Baltimore areas with British, Tribute, and Indie, rock bands; opening for acts such as Sting, Depeche Mode, and Creed. He has also enjoyed playing in jazz groups, and for theatre throughout the country.
Finally, while touring in California, he met up with long time friend Joe Luckinbill, and decided the obvious choice was to relocate to Los Angeles for the next step in his career. He currently works as a bassist, audio engineer and instrument tech. in the Northern Hollywood area.

Lugenbuhl is Joe Luckinbill's sir name. “Travelling through Ellis Island changed many Americans name's to a more "American" name. Some to escape persecution and others without a doubt just got a guy that couldn't spell or was having a bad day.”
Lugenbuhl’s core members met in college VA, they have enjoyed the company of dozens of local California players since. Joe Luckinbill was born in New York City, he started playing a 2 string Ukeleli at age 10. A child of musicians and entertainers he slowly gravitated towards guitar and songwriting as if he had no choice. Joe graduated from Shenandoah University in Winchester Virginia in 2006 with a BM for Music Production and Recording Technology and a minor in jazz + classical guitar.
He moved to Los Angeles California to start "The Joe Luckinbill Band" from 2006 to 2009 he released the first self-titled album "Joe Luckinbill" and started to play many shows in Hollywood, Santa Monica and many other venues full time for three solid years. Taking a break to write new songs and develop a new sound in 2011 he released "Lugenbuhl", his second LP
Lugenbuhl is planning 2012 tour and lots of local shows TBA in the California area.
